Testimonials
"Not only is Lisa a fabulous rider, but she also truly understands the way a horse thinks and behaves, giving her an incredible edge in bonding with and riding horses. My quarter horse is in training with Lisa, and since she started working him, I have seen a huge difference in the way he listens and responds. His confidence is soaring, and I must say that I am riding better because of her work with him!"
—Lauren Candito, Co-Founder of Lake Howell Equestrian Center
"Lisa has proven to be a valuable asset in keeping our herd schooled and conditioned for the therapeutic program. Her insight into each horse's individual needs combined with her skilled riding is remarkable. She develops a bond with the horse and shows the utmost respect and patience when working with them, both on the ground and in the saddle. We are grateful for the time and equine expertise she has donated to our program."
—Linda Chapman, Executive Director of Freedom Ride
"I have known Lisa Flowers for about two or three years now and cannot be more impressed with her knowledge of horses, her ability to help others understand horses, and her riding skills. I have never met another person who knows as much about riding horses and can convey the information as well as she can. Lisa helps other riders understand why the horse moves like he does, what the rider's job is, and how the rider and horse can become one. She helps the rider and horse understand each other through some of the most simple movements that cause less work, tension, and stress between the horse and rider while being extremely effective.
Her skills and connection she has with each horse she rides is incredible. In watching her ride and communicate with the horse, it is one of the most beautiful interactions between a horse and rider. She always treats the horses with respect, love, and patience whether she is beside them on the ground or on their back.
In being a rider that Lisa has influenced greatly, I can say first hand that she is one of the very best professional riders and trainers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I feel like I have grown and become a better rider as well as a better communicator with horses because of the help and instruction of Lisa Flowers."
